In 2020 we came across a fantastic organization with a founder with a big heart and strong desire to help children and paying it forward. Heart4Kids is a non-profit organization working to improve the daily lives of children living on the streets of Manila, Philippines. The organization was founded in 2013 by Cechell Oftedal who herself grew up on the same streets. Today the organization is doing fantastic work, helping over 400 children with food, education and health care.

2020 has been an extremely difficult year in the Philippines with the effects of the pandemic and the typhoon that has hit the country hard. ​A Hand To Children reached out to Heart4Kids to see how we could help. Through the fantastic work by the volunteer team in the Philippines we were able to contribute to helping 500 families with food, water, medicines and hygiene items as well as a weekly feeding program for 1000 families and Christmas gifts to children in 500 families.
